Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
The Express Entry program is in charge of the Economic Class, which includes the Canadian Experience Class. After receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA), processing periods typically take six months.
You must fulfill the program requirements in order to be eligible to apply.
Requirements for the Canadian Experience Class:
Possess, within 36 months of the application date, at least one year's worth of full-time skilled, professional, or technical job experience in Canada. Work experience obtained while enrolled full-time in school or self-employment are not accepted.
The work experience includes positions in technical jobs and skilled trades (NOC skill type B), professional employment (NOC skill type A), and managerial roles (NOC skill level 0).
Depending on the work level, meet the minimal language score of CLB 5 or CLB 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmark.
If you intend to live and work outside of Quebec, you can apply to the Quebec Experience Class if you have job experience there and plan to stay there.
Before obtaining permanent residency:
As part of the Canadian immigration application procedure, individuals and their dependents must also go through medical exams and secure security clearances after being chosen from the Express entry Pool and given an Invitation to Apply (ITA).
A good choice for International students for students who have worked in Canada, the Canadian Experience Class provides the quickest and easiest route to permanent residency.
International graduates can stay and work in Canada with post-graduate work permits after finishing a program or course of study at a Canadian educational institution. A graduate may be able to apply under the Canadian Experience Class once they have worked in a skilled, professional, or technical sector in Canada for at least a year.
